01About these terms
These terms apply to every photoshoot booked with Miraç Koçak (Miraç Hüseyin Koçak), a freelance photographer based in Budapest, Hungary. By booking a session you agree to them. If something here is unclear, ask me before you book.
02Booking
Your session is booked once I have confirmed the date, time and meeting point with you. The session length, the approximate number of edited photos and the price are the ones shown on the Budapest or Venice page when you book, or the ones we agreed in writing.
03Prices and payment
Prices are in euros and include the session, my editing and your online gallery. Gondola sessions include the private gondola ride. Travel outside the usual locations, extra time or the full gallery are priced separately and agreed with you first.
How and when to pay is set out in your booking confirmation.
04Changing the date or cancelling
You can move your session for free up to 48 hours before it starts, and cancel for a full refund up to 48 hours before. Cancellations later than that, or not turning up, are not refunded, but I will do my best to offer you a new date.
Bad weather: if rain, storm or flooding (acqua alta in Venice) makes the session impossible or unsafe, we move it to another time or day at no cost. If no new date works for you, you get a full refund.
If I have to cancel because of illness or an emergency, I will tell you as soon as possible and you choose between a new date and a full refund.
05On the day
Please arrive on time. If you are late, the session still ends at the booked time, so we don't keep the next clients waiting.
We photograph in public places, so other people, building work or closed areas can't always be avoided. I choose the spots and angles to make the most of what is there on the day.
Gondola rides are run by licensed gondoliers. I arrange the ride for you, but I'm not responsible for delays or changes caused by the gondola service, the weather or the water.
I may end a session early if anyone's safety is at risk or if I'm treated with abuse. In that case the photos taken so far are delivered.
06Your photos
I select and edit the best photos of your session in my own style. The number of photos on each session is approximate and depends on the light, the place and the moments we get.
Your edited photos arrive in your online gallery within 5 days of the session, often sooner. After a proposal, a few previews are sent the same day.
I don't hand over RAW or unedited files. You can ask to buy the full gallery of all good frames after your session.
Please download your photos when they arrive. I keep a backup for 12 months after delivery.
07Copyright and how you can use the photos
I keep the copyright of every photo and video I take. You get a personal licence to use your photos forever: to print them, frame them, give them as gifts and share them online. A tag, @mirackocakk, is appreciated.
Selling the photos, using them in advertising or for any business, or entering them into competitions needs my written permission. Please don't add filters or re-edit the photos when you share them as my work.
08My portfolio
I only use your photos in my portfolio, on this website or on social media if you agree. Photos in which a child can be recognised are only published with written consent from a parent or guardian. You can withdraw your consent at any time and I'll take the photos down.
09Responsibility
I take great care of your photos and back them up after every session. If, despite this, photos are lost through a technical failure, I'll offer you a free new session or a refund for the part of the session that was lost. My liability is limited to the price you paid for the session, except where the law does not allow this limit.
10Law
These terms are governed by Hungarian law. This does not take away any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
